About Fundly
Is Fundly a bank?
No. Fundly is a web app that lets you turn crypto into spendable money. Cards are issued by [PARTNER] and the EUR IBAN account is provided by [PARTNER], both licensed institutions. Fundly does not hold your funds itself. See How your funds are held.
Do I need to verify my identity?
Not to start. The Instant card needs only your email, phone number, country and a device check. Instant cards have monthly limits set by our partner and regulators, at launch approximately 1,000 to 2,500 EUR equivalent per month. Identity verification gives you higher limits, a physical card and a EUR IBAN account. See Instant vs Verified.
Is there a mobile app?
Native iOS and Android apps are coming soon. At launch, Fundly is a web app at app.fundly.xyz, and it works on phone browsers. You can add it to your home screen.
Deposits
Which chains and assets can I deposit?
At launch: Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, BNB Chain, Solana, Tron, Bitcoin and Lightning, with USDT, USDC, ETH, BTC, SOL, BNB, TRX, DAI, POL and EURC depending on the chain. See the Deposits overview.
How long does a deposit take?
Seconds on Lightning, about a minute on Solana, Tron and BNB Chain, 2 to 3 minutes on Ethereum and its layer 2 networks, and 20 to 30 minutes on Bitcoin. The app shows the deposit as pending as soon as it is seen on the network.
Do you keep my crypto?
No. Crypto is converted to your account currency (EUR or USD) at the published rate when it arrives. You then hold a fiat balance. Fundly is for spending, not storing.
I sent the wrong asset or used the wrong network. Is it lost?
Often not. If the chain is one Fundly supports, support can usually recover it for a fee (at launch 25 EUR or 5%, whichever is higher). Assets sent on unsupported chains are usually not recoverable. See Deposit troubleshooting.
Fees and limits
What does Fundly cost?
The Free plan has no monthly fee, a 1% deposit fee (minimum 1 EUR) and 1.5% on foreign-currency card payments. Plus (7.99 EUR per month) and Premium (19.99 EUR per month) lower or remove those fees. See the Fee schedule.
Is there a hidden spread on conversion?
No. The rate source and the fee are shown in the app before every deposit, and every foreign-currency card payment shows the network rate and the FX fee in its detail.
Cards and account
Does the card work with Apple Pay and Google Pay?
Apple Pay and Google Pay support is planned and depends on our card partner. We will announce it in the app when it is live.
Can I get a physical card?
Yes, once you are Verified. It ships to 100+ countries, typically in 5 to 10 business days in the EU. See Physical cards.
Can I receive my salary on Fundly?
Yes. Verified users get a EUR IBAN in their own name that accepts SEPA and SEPA Instant transfers. See Sending and receiving transfers.
What happens to my money if Fundly shuts down?
Your balance is held by [PARTNER] in segregated, safeguarded client accounts, separate from both Fundly's and [PARTNER]'s own money. Safeguarding is not deposit insurance, so read How your funds are held for the details.
Fundly is a financial technology company, not a bank. Limits and fees described as “at launch” are proposals and may change.
