Getting started

Create your account

Step-by-step guide to signing up for Fundly, choosing your account currency and getting your first card.

Before you start

You need:

  • A working email address and a mobile phone number that can receive SMS or push notifications.
  • A phone or computer with a modern browser. The Fundly web app works on phones as well as desktops.
  • To be in a supported country. See Supported countries.

You do not need an identity document to get started. That is only needed when you want to move from an Instant card to a Verified account.

  1. Sign in to the Fundly web app at app.fundly.xyz and choose Create account.
  2. Enter your email address and confirm it with the code we send.
  3. Enter your mobile number and confirm it with the SMS code.
  4. Choose your country of residence. We run a country check and sanctions screening at this step.
  5. Choose your account currency: USD or EUR. Deposits are converted into this currency. You cannot change it later without contacting support, so pick the currency you spend most in.
  6. Set a strong passcode and enable biometric login if your device supports it.
  7. Accept the Fundly terms and the [PARTNER] card terms.

Your account is now open. The whole process usually takes under five minutes.

Note
Fundly launches as a web app first. Native iOS and Android apps are coming soon. The web app works on phones, so you can add it to your home screen and use it like an app.
Note
The country check and device checks are part of what allows us to offer an Instant card with a light sign-up. If a check fails, you will be asked to complete full verification instead.

Get your Instant card

Once your account is open you can create a virtual Instant card immediately. Instant cards have monthly limits set by our partner and regulators. At launch that is roughly 1,000 to 2,500 EUR equivalent per month and about 500 EUR per transaction. See Virtual cards for the details.

  1. In the Fundly web app, open Cards, then Create virtual card.
  2. Confirm with your passcode or biometrics.
  3. Your card number, expiry and CVV appear in the app. Use them for online payments right away.

Make your first deposit

  1. Open Deposit and pick an asset, for example USDT.
  2. Pick the chain you will send from. The fee and the conversion rate are shown before you confirm.
  3. Copy the deposit address or scan the QR code from your wallet or exchange.
  4. Send at least the minimum (at launch 10 EUR equivalent, or 20 EUR on Ethereum mainnet and Bitcoin).
  5. Wait for confirmations. Most chains credit in one to three minutes. See Deposits overview.
Warning
Always check that the network in your wallet matches the chain you selected in Fundly. Sending on the wrong network is the most common cause of lost time and recovery fees.

Optional: verify now

If you already know you want a physical card, an IBAN account or higher limits, you can start verification straight after sign-up. It usually takes a few minutes with a valid ID. See Upgrading from Instant to Verified.
