Deposit on Arbitrum

How to deposit ETH, USDT, USDC and DAI on Arbitrum One, with confirmations, fees and common mistakes.

Arbitrum One is an Ethereum layer 2 built on Arbitrum Nitro. It settles to Ethereum, produces blocks roughly every 0.25 seconds and has low fees, which makes it a popular exchange withdrawal option.

Assets you can deposit

At launch Fundly accepts ETH, USDT, USDC and DAI on Arbitrum One. For USDC, only native USDC is accepted. The bridged token USDC.e is a different token and is not credited.

How to deposit

  1. Sign in to the Fundly web app at app.fundly.xyz and choose Deposit.
  2. Choose Arbitrum as the chain and pick the asset.
  3. Copy your address or scan the QR code. It is a 0x address with 40 hexadecimal characters.
  4. In your wallet or exchange, choose the Arbitrum One network. Exchanges may label it "ARBITRUM" or "Arbitrum One".
  5. Paste the address, enter the amount and send.
  6. Wait about 2 minutes for the deposit to be credited.
Note
Instant card users can deposit on Arbitrum, but Instant cards have monthly load limits set by our partner and regulators.

Confirmations and timing

AssetMinimum at launchCredited afterTypical time
ETH10 EUR equivalentabout 2 minutes of L2 blocksabout 2 minutes
USDT, USDC, DAI10 EUR equivalentabout 2 minutes of L2 blocksabout 2 minutes

Fundly credits on layer 2 confirmations, before Ethereum finality. Arbitrum blocks are very frequent, so we count time rather than a fixed block number.

Fees

Fees are paid in ETH on Arbitrum by the sender and are usually a few cents. Keep a little ETH on Arbitrum to pay for token transfers. Fundly's deposit fee at launch depends on your plan: Free 1% (minimum 1 EUR), Plus 0.5%, Premium 0%. The rate and fee are shown in the app before you confirm.

Common mistakes

Warning
Arbitrum shares the 0x address format with Ethereum, Base, Polygon and BNB Chain. The network you select at your exchange decides where the funds go.
  • Sending USDC.e instead of native USDC. USDC.e is the older bridged token. Check the token contract in your wallet before sending. Recovery may be possible for a fee.
  • Choosing Arbitrum Nova instead of Arbitrum One. Nova is a separate chain and is not supported.
  • Withdrawing to Ethereum mainnet by accident. Ethereum is supported, so support can usually recover for a fee.
  • Sending less than the 10 EUR minimum.

Fundly is a financial technology company, not a bank. Limits and fees described as “at launch” are proposals and may change.
