Deposits
Deposit on TON
How Fundly deposits of USDT on The Open Network (TON) will work once enabled, including address formats, timing, fees and common mistakes.
Note
TON is a planned chain and is not yet enabled at launch. This page describes how deposits will work once it goes live. Until then, Tron is the closest alternative for fast, low-fee USDT deposits.
The Open Network (TON) is a fast layer 1 closely tied to Telegram. USDT on TON has grown quickly because it can be sent directly from Telegram wallets. Blocks arrive about every 5 seconds.
Assets you can deposit
Once enabled, Fundly plans to accept:
- USDT (as a TON jetton)
TON, the native coin, is under review and is not accepted at launch.
How to deposit
- Sign in to the Fundly web app at app.fundly.xyz and choose Deposit.
- Choose TON as the chain and USDT as the asset.
- Copy your deposit address or scan the QR code. TON addresses are 48 characters in the user-friendly format and start with
EQorUQ. - In your wallet, exchange or Telegram wallet, choose the network labelled TON.
- Paste the address, check the first and last characters, and send.
- Wait for the deposit to be credited. Fundly credits after the masterchain block containing your transfer is finalized, usually about a minute.
Your address will be unique to you and reusable.
Note
Many exchanges require a memo or comment for TON deposits because they share one address across all customers. Fundly does not. Each user has their own address, so you can leave the memo field empty.
Confirmations and timing
| Asset | Minimum | Fundly credits after | Typical time |
|---|---|---|---|
| USDT (jetton) | 10 EUR equivalent | finalized masterchain block | about 1 minute |
Fees
- Network fee, paid in TON by the sender. A jetton transfer needs a small amount of TON in the sending wallet, typically well under one TON.
- Fundly deposit fee, taken at conversion. At launch this is 1% (minimum 1 EUR) on Free, 0.5% on Plus and 0% on Premium. See the fee schedule.
Common mistakes
- Bounceable versus non-bounceable addresses. The same TON account can be written starting with
EQ(bounceable) orUQ(non-bounceable). Both point to the same account. If your wallet converts one form to the other, that is normal and the deposit will still arrive. - Sending TON coin instead of USDT. Only USDT is accepted at launch. TON coin sent to your address will not be converted and recovery is not guaranteed.
- No TON for fees. Jetton transfers require a little TON in the sending wallet to pay fees. If your wallet holds only USDT, the transfer will fail before it is sent.
- Sending before the chain is enabled. Until TON appears in the app, do not send assets on TON to Fundly. Recovery is not guaranteed for chains that are not yet supported.
- Confusing TON with Tron. The names look similar and both carry USDT, but they are unrelated networks with different address formats. Tron addresses start with
Tand are 34 characters. TON addresses start withEQorUQand are 48 characters.
Tip
When withdrawing from a Telegram wallet, double-check that the recipient shown is the full 48-character address from the Fundly app, not a Telegram username.
