Deposits

Deposit on Avalanche

How Fundly deposits on the Avalanche C-Chain will work once enabled, including supported stablecoins, address formats, timing and mistakes to avoid.

Note
Avalanche is a planned chain and is not yet enabled at launch. This page describes how deposits will work once it goes live. Until then, use Polygon, Base or Tron for fast stablecoin deposits.

Avalanche is a fast layer 1 with near-instant finality. Its C-Chain is EVM compatible, so it uses the same 0x address format as Ethereum. Avalanche also has an X-Chain and a P-Chain, which use different address formats and are not supported.

Assets you can deposit

Once enabled, Fundly plans to accept these assets on the Avalanche C-Chain:

  • USDT
  • USDC

AVAX, the native token, is under review and is not accepted at launch.

How to deposit

  1. Sign in to the Fundly web app at app.fundly.xyz and choose Deposit.
  2. Choose Avalanche as the chain and the stablecoin you want to send.
  3. Copy your deposit address or scan the QR code. It is a standard 0x address with 40 hexadecimal characters.
  4. In your wallet or exchange, choose the network labelled Avalanche C-Chain or AVAX C-Chain. Do not choose X-Chain.
  5. Paste the address, check the first and last characters, and send.
  6. Wait for the deposit to be credited. Avalanche finalizes in about 1 to 2 seconds, and Fundly credits after 1 confirmation following finality.

Your address will be unique to you and reusable. No memo is needed.

Fees

  • Network fee, paid in AVAX by the sender. Token transfers usually cost a few cents.
  • Fundly deposit fee, taken at conversion. At launch this is 1% (minimum 1 EUR) on Free, 0.5% on Plus and 0% on Premium. See the fee schedule.

Common mistakes

  • Choosing X-Chain instead of C-Chain. Some exchanges default to the X-Chain when withdrawing AVAX or tokens. X-Chain addresses start with X-avax1 and are a completely different format. Fundly only supports the C-Chain. Always pick C-Chain explicitly.
  • Wrong EVM network. Your Avalanche address is identical to your Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon and BNB Chain addresses. If you pick the wrong network, the funds land there instead. If that chain is supported by Fundly, support can usually recover the deposit for a recovery fee.
  • Sending AVAX. AVAX is not accepted at launch. It will not be converted and recovery is not guaranteed.
  • Sending before the chain is enabled. Until Avalanche appears in the app, do not send assets on Avalanche to an address copied from another chain. Recovery is not guaranteed for chains that are not yet supported.
  • Bridged versus native stablecoins. Choose native USDC and the standard USDT on Avalanche where your wallet offers more than one version.
Warning
If your wallet shows an address starting with X-avax1 or P-avax1, stop. That is not a C-Chain address and Fundly cannot receive funds there.
